INSTITUTION:
Inaugurated in September 1994 in the vicinity of Spormaggiore, commune of Natural Park Adamello
Brenta, in locality Albarč- Plan della Fontana. To extend for about 7000 square metres.
ENVIRONMENT:
The natural area is realized with an enclosure, wheter in walling or metallic, part of wood pre- existent.
So reproduce the natural habitat typical of zone. There are in fact big trees (beech, spruce fir, larch),
bushy zone, open zone and a little brook with pools and falls.
CHARACTERISTICS:
A building basement entertain: 4 artificial holes for the bears.
There is a video- room with twenty seats for the visitors.
ENTRANCE:
The entrance in the area is not free.
PEDESTRIAN ACCESS:
From Spormaggiore: with a short walk (about 900 metres) on asphalted road, closed at the traffic in the
terminal part. Oneself climbs to feet from the square of church (bus- stop and possibility of stop for
motor- car and country bus). There are about 30 parking, where is no throughfare (about 300 meters
from natural area).
From area's stop, along the S.S. 421: between Spormaggiore and locality Castle Belfort (towards Andalo)
for the path (about 700 metres) with the signals.
From locality Castle Belfort: (2 km to Spormaggiore towards Andalo, bus- stop) with a short walk flat
(about 900 metres) on the natural road no throughfare with the signals. There is too the possibility
of parking for some cars.
